Best Tablets Under $250 Dollars – Top 5 List

By

If you are looking for the best tablets under $250, you have come to the right place. Compared to the tablets in the lower price range, these tablets have better display quality, faster processors, higher RAM, and longer battery life.

With just a few additional bucks, you will certainly get your money’s worth. They may be released more than a year ago at a more expensive price, but time made them cheaper and the specs are still better than the new tablets in the same price range.

With that said, below is the Top 5 best tablets under $250.

#1 – Apple iPad mini 2 (16 GB) (Wi-Fi Only)

This tablet has a starting price of $299 back in 2013. It is now sold by Apple at a slightly lower price, but online stores like Amazon, have offers that are much lower.

This is the first mini version with Retina display, and for me, the best feature of this product.

To refresh our memory, Apple’s Retina display provides detailed and razor sharp graphics and texts. At a pixel density of 326 ppi, it has the best display quality on the list.

It has a dual-core processor and 1GB RAM which you should not underestimate by just counting the number of cores. Apple designs both their hardware and software (iOS) to obtain the maximum performance. So even a dual-core and 1GB RAM can run faster than most quad-core tablets with higher RAM.

At only 331 g and a 7.5 mm thin design, it is quite compact and light that it is comfortable to bring anywhere. This is one of the primary reasons why I prefer 8-inch tablets over the larger ones.

With its battery capacity, it can run up to 10 hours of multimedia use. It can also record Full HD videos, use over 500,000 quality apps in the Apple App Store, connect to Wi-Fi, and take quality pictures better than the 8MP camera of the other tablets.

One of the best features of this tablet is its processing speed, which is better than the other Lenovo tablets in the list.

With its processing power, it can run apps and games very smoothly. You can even multitask without a problem, as long as you monitor your RAM consumption.

At only 299g in weight, it is the lightest tablet in the list. This is perfect if you want a tablet that is very comfortable to hold for a longer period. The display quality is the second best in the list. At 283 ppi pixel density, graphics and text are decently sharp.

The battery life can last up to 7 hours of multimedia use. Other cool features include the use of a microSD card up to 32 GB, Wi-Fi, GPS, and stereo speakers.

The most awesome feature of this product is its adaptability to what the user wants. With its kickstand and battery cylinder, it can be used in four ways.

You can put it on standing position, tilt it, hang it somewhere, or just hold it normally.

Another awesome feature of this product is its battery life which can last up to 18 hours of multimedia use. You will not have to worry much about losing your battery power soon.

With a Dolby surround audio and Hi-Fi audio processing, you can watch movies with its stereo speaker better than the other tablets. The display quality is the same with the previous Lenovo tablet, which is the second best display quality on the list.

At this price range, processors should be fast enough to multitask. With its high processing speed and 2GB RAM, you can seamlessly open and switch between apps. It also comes with Android or Windows OS.

The best feature if this tablet is its processing speed. It can also run apps and multitask between them without delay. It can store your files with up to 64GB in microSD.

At only 338g, it is very close to the lightness of the iPad mini 2. The pixel density is 273 ppi, so the display quality is lower, but close to the previous Lenovo tablets. It has the highest screen-to-body ratio which is at 72.80%.

It also has a very high processing power and RAM so you don’t have to worry about delays in launching your apps or playing your games.

This tablet has the largest display in the list. This is excellent if you prefer this kind of size for watching movies, playing games, and doing something productive.

With its size comes the additional weight. The resolution is the same as the previous three tablets, but pixel density is decreased at only 224 ppi.

When it comes to processing speed, it is at par with the tablets in the list and can smoothly run and multitask your apps and games.

Other cool features include the use of 32GB microSD card, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi, and GPS.
