Design – Seamless Metal Body and Super Thin Profile
The ASUS Zenfone 3 Ultra comes with an all-metal unibody. Almost all expensive flagship smartphones of other brands are now made of metal. So what makes the design of this smartphone unique?
It has a gapless metal design, unlike other smartphones that are made of metal but still have some plastic components in order to allow the mobile signal to come in. The plastic lines on the rear of the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus is an example.
Mobile signals cannot go through metal, but ASUS was able to manage this limitation and was able to create the invisible antenna design.
Another difference as compared with other metallic smartphones is that the aluminum alloy used in the ASUS Zenfone 3 Ultra is not just any other aluminum alloy. ASUS used an aerospace type of aluminum which has better strength-to-density ratio than other alloys.
The overall design and the materials used are pretty much the same with ASUS Zenfone 3 Deluxe which is a very beautiful and an awesome smartphone that you should also check out.
The ASUS Zenfone 3 Ultra also has a super slim body. At only 6.8 mm, it thinner than the Zenfone 3 and Zenfone 3 Deluxe. It is even thinner than most of the smartphones around. An iPhone 6s Plus, for example, is at 7.3 mm. So now, can you imagine how slim it is? 😀

The pixel size is not as large as the flagship smartphones of other brands. But the Zenfone 3 Ultra has camera software enhancement features including Low Light Mode, which according to ASUS, can allow up to 400% brighter photos and videos.
